Our Business Philosophy

 Words To Live By

Ethics:

-We need to live by honesty and trust.  This is the foundation for business relationships.

-The values of honesty are countless.  They include: Fostering long term relationships; Feeling good about yourself and work; Sleeping better; Etc.

-There are hopefully no major surprise negative issues from our side that you should be encountering upon in our Partnership.

-Studies show the nature of the desired creativity flourishes best in a trusting environment.

-Let’s have a zero tolerance policy for others playing under handed games against ourselves or other Partners. One act of bad faith can destroy our trust.

-We hope to be the most honest and fair organization you have the opportunity to work with in developing inventions.  Most businesses refrain from disclosing information that you may need if it covers negative sides to things.  In life all things have good and bad sides.

Reliability:

-Only make commitments you can keep.

-Have one foot on the ground while reaching for the stars.  Responsibility is the foundation upon which we gain the strength to innovate.

Trust:

-We would attract more business if we like most other businesses painted a rosier picture without our many notes of caution.  We prefer fewer Partners if this nurtures genuine relationships.

-Trust is an especially important issues, as a portion of our business relationships are with others at a distance, and with parties we may not always have the opportunity of meeting.

-All the more reason why you and we should have zero tolerance for unethical behavior.

-The foundation of trust and caring nurtures the freedom for us to focus on creativity.

Creativity Is Nurtured Through Optimism:

-We need to nurture new ideas.  Studies on imagination prove over and over again that skepticism is the main element inhibiting creativity.  Let your inner youth temporarily take over.  Collect all your playful ideas, at a later time, screen them for viability, saving the best.

Being A Risk Taker:

-”If you are looking for perfect safety, you will do well to sit on a fence and watch the birds.”  Co-inventor of the airplane.

-The terms innovators and risk takers are synonymous.

-Those unwilling to take any risks in general are usually kept captive by employers who offer minimal security and limited potential gain.  You must be a risk taker to work with us.

-Skepticism might be reserved to the practical side for how the Partner will take the invention to venture capitalists, other engineers, and ultimately the user.  First let your creativity flow uninhibited to come up with the ideas to make this happen.

-Although we can’t be liable for other’s unethical behavior, we take risks hoping others are ethical in order to establish long term relationships.

Time Management:

-Manage your time effectively. What are your priorities? It is said that most people spend 80% of their time getting 20% of the results, and 20% of their time getting 80% of the results.

-Are you devoting your time to negotiating agreements or innovating?  As we have limited time, we prefer to start the needed work explained in the given contract, than putting time into negotiating terms.  If the invention doesn’t pan out, we can shift to another invention.

Goals:

-Making profits is highly important.  But we must also remember the pleasures from having good relationships with Partners, and feeling good about our work.

Long Term:

-Focus on nurturing long term relationships than attempting to constantly rescue fledging ones.  It might be better to stick with certain principles.  Partners possibly working with other Partners lacking in certain disciplines like ethics and responsibility shouldn’t be tolerated.  We need to balance the need for compassion and a fantastically open mind, with principles that can foster success in the real world.  Don’t tolerate others who might abuse your trust.  The expectation of, and following through of unwaving respect for each other, is essential in nurturing long term relationships.

-Let’s seriously work together promoting our long term relationship.  If something comes up, let’s try to solve it.

-The goal can be for us to get along and work together for a decade or longer.

-If for some reason an invention is having too much difficulty, we shall quickly try to find an alternative invention for the Partner to work on.

Passion For Innovating:

-Find passion and energy your work.  Constantly seek new ways to innovate.  Enjoy the challenges.
